ABOUT TiE DC
TiE DC is the regional chapter of TiE Global, the world's largest organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and innovation. The TiE DC coverage area includes the Mid-Atlantic region, extending from Richmond to Baltimore.
Recognized as a leader in supporting entrepreneurship within the region, TiE DC maintains that entrepreneurship is essential for economic growth and job creation. The organization follows a strategic agenda focused on expanding the entrepreneurial community, identifying opportunities across diverse industry sectors and emerging platforms, and strengthening management training to increase the likelihood of entrepreneurial success.

Goals & Objectives
TiE DC is a nonprofit organization committed to fostering entrepreneurship across all industries and developmental stages. Leveraging a global network while maintaining a strong local presence, TiE DC centers its initiatives around five core programs, known as "pillars," which are strategically designed to address the specific needs of entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey.
Entrepreneurs may begin their TiE experience at any stage and will be "met where they are." Throughout this virtuous cycle of the entrepreneur, those at the earliest stages benefit from mentoring and guidance offered by those in the later stages, ideally growing to a point where they are able to give back in turn.
Mission
The mission of TiE is to foster entrepreneurship globally through mentoring, networking, education, incubating, and funding. Dedicated to the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community, TiE's focus is on generating and nurturing our next generation of entrepreneurs.
